The UCD Institute of Food and Health is based within Ireland's largest university, University College Dublin (UCD), bringing together food and health researchers and their teams. Comprising 60 faculty, 200 PhD students, 50 MSc students and 40 Post-doctoral researchers, the Institute conducts research across five themes: Food Safety; Food sustainability; Primary Production Systems; Innovative Processing and Food Quality; and Nutrition and Health.
